About Winter Birds
I found several things that I can relate to my own childhood and life experiences, and I'm sure many others will as well. I'm glad I did.
The tension was taut, and I couldn't stop turning the pages; in other words it moved like cheetah on amphetamines. I finished the novel in one day. The mood and tone Grimsley is able to evoke is stunning. While the plot wavers around somewhat and the characters act in inexplicable ways, the power of the narrative will touch a chord in your heart that will reverberate for years.
I'm looking forward to reading more from this talented first-time novelist. See all 28 reviews. What other items do customers buy after viewing this item? Comfort and Joy Hardcover.
